Unisensor AS (UNI) / Philips Biocell is an SME founded in 1997. In August 2014, Unisensor was acquired by Royal Philips and is now part of Philips’ Healthcare Incubator within Philips Innovation, Group & Services.
With 35 employees UNI focuses on developing instruments for a wide range of biomedical applications. Examples of applications include analysis of blood, milk, urine and water, which are developed and sold both as OEM products and in own brand. The target markets of these applications range from lab grade instruments to compact and low-cost point-of-care devices.
UNI cover all competences needed for developing complete stand-alone instruments for the medico market. UNI also have the capabilities of small scale production.
